SUGGESTIONS

  • 1) Be sure to hang on to your tourist visa – you will need it when you leave the country.
  • Taxi stand airport2) Ignore the many Timeshare booths as you leave customs. They can be a little aggressive with their many ‘free’ offers.
  • 3) If you need a Taxi to get to your hotel – just go to the booth marked ‘TAXI’. Tell them where you are going and they will give you a voucher. Rates are fixed so you don’t need to worry about being overcharged. ** Airport cabs are a little expensive but the return trip to the airport is much cheaper.
  • 4) There is also a 'Casa de Cambio' (Exchange booth) you can exchange some money before you leave the airport.
  • 5) Once you arrive at your hotel – give us a call so we can confirm details of your fishing trip.
  • 6) Take it easy on the first day as you adjust to the tropical climate. Drink bottled water and don’t forget the sunscreen.
